Manice (www.manice.org) was launched in France at the beginning of 2006. The aim of the website is to provide straightforward explanations on digital cinema techniques, practices and economics. As Manice has become a useful tool for many French cinema professionals (film exhibitors, distributors, etc) an English Manice (www.manice.net) has been launched in June 2012. A newsletter listing the titles of the last articles published on Manice.net is sent regularly to its subscribers. Subscription is free: name, profession and e-mail address is the only information required. Besides the newsletter, subscribing to Manice gives full access to the content of the website.
